Boris is Co-Managing Partner of GCP and has been a member of the GCP investment committee since 2009. He joined Greenhill Capital Partners in 2003 and has 25+ years of private equity investment experience.
Boris has led approximately 15 and been a member of the investment team on over 20 portfolio companies while at GCP. He focuses on financial services, financial technology and tech-enabled business services. He is currently a Director of Alkeme, Verita, TransNetwork, Grasshopper Bank, MapleMark Bank, Gavnat and MobileWalla. He was formerly a director of Transfast, Acrisure, Radius, ClearView Risk, Continental Bank, Eastern Virginia Bank, First Mariner Bank, Coastal States Bank, Geoforce, Hercules Offshore and Ironshore. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University (1996) and Harvard Business School (2003).
Prior to joining GCP, from 1999 to 2001, Boris was an Associate at American Securities Capital Partners, a New York-based middle-market private equity fund. From 1996 to 1999, he was in the principal investment area (merchant banking) and leveraged finance group of Goldman Sachs.
